Could they even help us understand the world differently?

New Metaphors http://imaginari.es/new-metaphors/ is a simple set of cards and associated methods for understanding one thing in terms of another. 150 cards containing both abstract concepts (hard to visualise) and 'concrete' examples from both nature and the artificial world are combined through a structured process to arrive at novel ways of thinking about complicated concepts and ideas.
